Delores Brazzel, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and a Doctoral Candidate, Ed.D (ABD) Curriculum and Instruction, at Tennessee State University, has been the Career Technical Educator at Baxter Alternative Learning Center since 2002-03. She was selected and will present her Research in Progress proposal Dissertation: Curriculum Integration of Constructivism, Technology and Art Education as Anger Management Strategies in Alternative High Schools at the Mid South Education Research Association Annual Meeting in Hot Spring AR, November 2007. Brazzel was honored as by the State of Tennessee and Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools as the Teacher of the Year – Building Level – Baxter ALC during May, 2007. In 2005, Brazzel earned her Ed.S in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University. She has served a Principal Designee, Faculty Advisory Chair at Baxter ALC as well as an MNPS Summer School Lead Teacher. Brazzel earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Electronic Media respectively from Middle Tennessee State University.
