Attended George Peabody College and Vanderbilt University.
Graduated with a BA in Elementary Education at Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina.
Received 30+ hours of graduate studies from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina emphasis in reading education
Masters in Educational Effectiveness from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Career in education includes classroom teacher, wrote and administered a grant for homebound pregnant students in SC District 55; Student/Tutor Coordinator for Laurens County, SC Literacy Council; Instructor and Workplace Literacy Specialist, Textron Aerostructors; Work Place Literacy Consultant, Readright Systems, Seattle, WA. This year marks the eleventh year of service with the ALC, teaching English I, II, III, & IV.
